Financial Aid Policy

Emergent Academy offers financial assistance to current and incoming families with demonstrated financial need. The need-based aid program is designed to allow families to consider Emergent Academy for their child(ren)’s education who otherwise could not afford the cost of tuition, and to provide the Academy with a diverse and well-qualified student body.

How to Apply

Financial Aid Process

Emergent Academy uses the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to conduct a financial analysis to determine each family’s financial need. Parents/guardians complete the online application and submit supporting materials. FACTS provides a confidential report of a family’s financial situation and need to Emergent Academy. Emergent Academy then makes the final decision regarding the aid awarded, if any, and notifies parents/guardians. No financial aid award will be finalized until the student is admitted into Emergent Academy. This is a secure and strictly confidential process. This information is only shared with members of the Financial Aid Committee.

Step 1: Click here to create an account on FACTS and submit the aid application. Please note: there is a $30 fee that must be paid online in order to submit the application. If this fee is a financial burden, please reach out to Hannah Thompson, CFO, at billing@emergentacademy.org.

Step 2: Submit your federal income tax return, W-2 forms, and any other supporting documentation for non-taxable income. Please upload these documents to FACTS; do not send to Emergent Academy.

Step 3: Emergent Academy will notify you with the award decision.
